children's art programs
Children's Art Workshop with Stephie Morton is an art class where children are encouraged to express their ideas and inner vision through art. Great effort is made to provide an environment that is positive, pressure-free and non-competitive so that each child can feel comfortable enough to explore his/her full creative potential. During a session, a child will: discover many different art materials; become aware of basic formal principles in art; such as line, form, shape and color; learn to recognize and appreciate the work of many great artists; develop greater skill in drawing and painting; visit FCMOCA galleries regularly for inspiration and instruction; participate in an important Art Show. Children's Art Workshop welcomes each child as an artist worthy of respect. It is our goal to nurture self esteem by providing a rich, fun, success-oriented art experience and to bring joy through the discovery and celebration of the creative self.
