We have many ways for you to get involved at FCMOA!

To volunteer, please call 970.482.2787 or drop by the museum to fill out a volunteer application. For information on our Docent Program, click here for the brochure. Open positions:

Gallery Attendants
Be a greeter at our lobby desk and help visitors learn about all the programs the museum offers. This job helps us know how many people are visiting the galleries and pay the $5 admission. Let us know if you can do a two-hour shift any time Tuesdays – Fridays, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm or Saturdays, noon to 5:00 pm.

First Friday Gallery Walk / Opening Receptions
Do you like to attend our art openings? We can use help with setting up, hosting and cleaning up our receptions. This is a fun opportunity to meet the artists, introduce people to the FCMOA and help keep the staff available to greet guests. First Friday hours: 6-9:00pm; Openings are typically on Thursdays from 5-7:00pm. Please call to learn about reception dates if you are interested.

Installations
Responsibilities include: All aspects of gallery preparation i.e. packing work, patching and painting walls, moving walls, and hanging work. This is an active, hands-on opportunity. If you are interested in installations, please let the volunteer/installation coordinator know! Usually work is done during regular museum hours with occasional evenings and weekends - amount of time you donate is up to you.

Special Events
FCMOA hosts many special events and fundraisers that are staffed almost entirely by volunteers. To join this energetic and fun crew, please call the museum to find out what’s on the schedule at this time!
